Area Juniors Play Well at the Citadel!

We missed this one last week. Thanks to David Ruckno for sending us the information!

Almost 300 Juniors participated in the South Carolina State Open Championships at the Citadel.  David Ruckno’s daughter, Emily Ruckno, and her partner, Mattie Dermody, won the Girls 12’s doubles, and she was in the playoff between semi-finalists in the 12’s singles! There were a number of other winners from the area.

I did a quick comparison  of the player roster to the results and highlighted names from Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort in the following table.  My apologies for any I missed!
